5 With the actuator and bracket removed, you can see the long adjuster nut to which the new actuator will mate. Since the wiper door moves in an arc, the hole will need to be enlarged so the shaft can move up and down enough to push the door through its travel. The part that needs to be cut is not the round hole in the fiberglass, but rather the steel part behind it, which is what the bracket used to mount to. View Related Article
