"We were surprised with how high the timing was set for this vehicle-it's probably due to the low compression. We were able to safely add a few degrees more timing, as the tune was fairly aggressive from GM already. As usual, there were some gains from slightly leaning out the air/fuel ratio, but we found we gained the most power where most would consider it too rich," commented ECS' Doug Ring on the custom tune.
