Route the new Zip braided brake line to the caliper and tighten it.

Here's the assembled package. The massive DBA two-piece rotor and powder-coated calipers make a real statement.

Since the rear brakes follow virtually the same installation procedure, we won't cover the specifics here. This photo shows the completed completed assembly, including the DBA 4000-series rotor and powdercoated stock caliper.

The final step is perhaps the most important. Flushing the brake system with highquality brake fluid will ensure your car stops to the best of its ability time and again. ATe DoT 4 fluid is offered in both amber and blue colors, making it easy to see when you have completely flushed the old fluid from the system. Simply alternate colors each flush. Two liters should be more than enough.

Use a short section of clear tubing on the bleeder nipples to contain the mess and give you a good look at the flushing progress.

Bleeding the brake system on the C6 is straightforward. Start on the left rear corner and work your way to the right rear, the right front, and, finally, the left front. Thorough flushing of the ABS module requires a TECH II tool, or a few brake applications that activate the ABS. If you choose the latter, do so after properly bedding in the brakes.

It's time to reinstall the wheels and admire the fruits of your labor.
