With the shocks in place,... With the shocks in place, the Pfadt sway bar can now be placed. At 32mm in diameter, it certainly looks beefy, but is actually quite lightweight, thanks to its hollow construction. These bars also feature high-quality zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Pfadt includes polyurethane bushings for low noise, but also offers pillow blocks for full-race applications. | The splined ends of the sway... The splined ends of the sway bars are mated to these arms. Constructed of 6061 anodized aluminum, the arms are equipped with multiple adjustment holes to allow the user to dial in the desired amount of understeer (or oversteer). | The adjustable end of the... The adjustable end of the arm is attached to the lower control arm with these steel end links. Featuring Teflon-lined spherical bearings, Pfadt's end links eliminate a significant weak point in GM's original design. |

He also removed the toe link to gain a little space to maneuver the components. | As with the front, the rear... As with the front, the rear coilover simply drops into place. |
Lovell next lifted the rear... Lovell next lifted the rear sway bar into place and bolted it up with the polyurethane bushings. | The rear sway-bar arms attach... The rear sway-bar arms attach in the same manner as the fronts. The splines ensure that there will be no slippage. Four adjustment holes make for generous tuning possibilities. | The bright, zinc-coated rear... The bright, zinc-coated rear bar provides a little eye candy for those following March around the track or across town. |
A suspension system is only as good as the setup and alignment it is given. Lovell spent considerable time perfecting the corner weights before giving the car a precision alignment designed to maximize March's intended usage. Tune in next month, when we will dive into the setup specs and get into the before and after numbers from our two lapping sessions at Sebring!
