The all-aluminum engine is quite the performer and sounds incredible, thanks to a custom exhaust system featuring stainless-steel 13⁄4-inch headers fabricated by Craig's Hot Rods. From there, the exhaust gasses flow through polished stainless oval tubing and into a pair of Billy Boat mufflers, which feature factory-spec C6 Z06 exhaust-control valves.

Backing the hot LS3 is a TCI Automotive 6X automatic transmission, which has excellent ratios for performance, while also offering overdrive in Sixth gear. An electronically controlled Shiftworks shifter controls the trans from the original console, while TCI RF-controlled paddle shifters bring cog-swapping control to Moore's fingertips. Moving further back in the driveline, you'll find a Dana 44 center section packed with 3.54 gears and outfitted with a Street Shop billet cover.

The same attention to detail continues inside Moore's coupe, with custom leather upholstery by Steve Holcomb at Pro Auto Custom Interiors in Knoxville. Custom color treatments provide a perfect contrast to the bold Gunmetal exterior, while '09 Corvette seats serve as comfortable replacements for the stock buckets. Creature comforts include a Custom Autosound Secret Audio SST radio and a Classic Air HVAC system. A one-off set of Classic Instruments gauges—built to match the iconic '65-'67 Corvette clock—resides in the stock dash.

No one can argue with the amazing build quality and creativity of Moore's Corvette. But while the car is a paragon of high-end, show-ready workmanship, it's also built to be driven. Serious abuse may not be in its future, but Moore does plan to drive it often and show it off at car shows and cruise-in events. It's a flawless machine that rarely goes unnoticed, thanks to its tasteful body modifications, aggressive stance, and beautiful paint—a combination any Corvette fan would love.
