The low, aggressive rake of the Sting Ray was a makeshift response to the car's poor aerodynamics. At 140 mph, the front end began to lift off the ground; lowering the front was the simplest way to reduce lift. Also note the knock-off "kidney bean" Halibrands and side pipes. View Related Article
