Oliphant Corvette C5 Dyno Performance Test Results
Running 13.5 psi of boost, the iron-block 408 assaulted the chassis dyno with 908.4 hp and 732.0 lb-ft of torque-without nitrous. That equates to around 1,068 hp and 861 lb-ft at the flywheel! The torque curve remains flat, at over 700 lb-ft, from just under 5,000 rpm all the way to the redline.
