Above Mark Carlyle powered his Z06 to a 7.09-second quarter-mile at 212.69 mph in the Outlaw Drag Radial event, a record for an IRS-equipped car. The Lingenfelter Performance Nats also served as an official qualifying event for the Optima Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Dave Mikels won the Grand Champion award in the Optima Qualifier, driving a ’12 Grand Sport owned by Brian Thomson.
