Corvettes At Carlisle Show - Track Meet

This ex-factory '57 Corvette race car ran at Sebring that same year. It's currently undergoing a complete restoration.

The Miller family displayed its '60 Le Mans Corvette in the Chip's Choice special collection. The family is planning to take this car back to Le Mans to celebrate its class win at the 1960 race.

Many vintage Corvette racers were also featured prominently. The No. 8 '67 finished 10th overall and First in GT at the 1967 Sebring 12-hour race. The blue Penske No. 9 finished 11th overall and First in GT at Sebring a year earlier.

Don Yenko, Dick Guldstrand, and Bob Bondurant drove this Corvette at Le Mans in 1967. The team led its class for 13 hours until the engine failed. Collector Harry Yeaggy now owns the car.

Marietta Johnson and the late Dave Heinz drove this '68 Corvette to a 15th place finish at the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans race. This car currently resides in Mid America Motorworks' Corvette collection.

This '69 Greenwood Corvette was involved in an accident on the streets of Le Mans the night before the 1973 race. The car was so badly damaged, it couldn't compete in the event the next day. This Corvette is part of John Thompson's collection.

This C5-R was driven by the late Dale Earnhardt at the 2001 24 Hours of Daytona race, where it finished Third overall. It also finished Second in GT1 at the 2001 and 2002 24 Hours of Le Mans events. It's now owned by the Miller family.

To celebrate Corvette's 50th anniversary, Pratt & Miller painted its two 2003 Le Mans entries Le Mans blue. This No. 50 C5-R finished Second in GT1 and is now owned by Bob Petrella.

The Pratt & Miller GT1 C6.Rs will not be eligible to compete at Le Mans in 2010. This No. 63 entry (chassis No. 007) won GT1 at Le Mans this year.
