Several parking spaces in front of the bookstore were blocked off for Corvettes. That's our Feb. '04 cover car--Ken Adrianse's wild Vortech-supercharged, Rochester-injected '65 fuelie in the foreground--with a pair of C5s owned by Corvettes of Bakersfield members next in line and Dick Guldstrand's personal Signature Edition 50th Anniversary Z06 (see "50 The Fast Way" in the July '03 issue for details about these wild 50-state-legal 7.0-liter beasts).
